What is DataBridge?

The international ERP stays the core; DataBridge complements the functionality

The core system stays in place; DataBridge complements it in proportion to the divergence, from minor gaps to a full second tier.

The core stays

The group's SAP or Microsoft system remains the core. Consolidation and group-level control are unchanged.

Complementing the functionality

DataBridge provides the missing local processes: ready-made modules, custom add-on and interface development, integrated directly into the core system.

Two-tier ERP model, where justified

Where local and central processes differ significantly, DataMagic runs as a secondary ERP at the subsidiary, integrated into the core. The interface comes in more than 20 languages by default, matching the target country.

The problem

The global ERP stalls at the subsidiary

Forcing the group template onto the local unit is expensive, slow and still incomplete. The official localisations cover the reporting obligation, not the local operating procedures.

Localisation ≠ operations

The mandatory e-invoice XML is in place, but the document chain, cancellation and correction, goods-movement reporting and complex VAT cases are not covered.

Local needs wait in line

Every local need sits on the central development backlog, on international consultancy day rates.

Control slips into Excel

The local team works in spreadsheets alongside the system. That is where data and control are lost.

Two service modes

Modules and solutions, or just the bridge

Depending on how much the local unit needs alongside the international system, we offer two approaches.

Bridge modules and solutions

Full DataMagic modules (service, inventory, production, document) and targeted point solutions (e-invoicing, workflow, web shop, reporting) alongside the international system.

Bridge Connect

The technical integration layer: OData / IDoc / Service Layer on the international system side, REST / NATS / ETL on the DataMagic side. Synchronisation is bidirectional and event-driven.

How it fits together

The international system stays the core; the local layer is built around it

Consolidation, group controlling and enterprise management stay in the central system. The local unit gets a ready layer built on its own processes.

INTERNATIONAL SYSTEM OData · IDoc Service Layer Business Events BRIDGE CONNECT mapping · scheduling events · error handling DATAMAGIC REST · OAuth2 NATS · ETL

Bidirectional arrows: real-time, event-driven synchronisation between the two systems.

Each international system has its own approach and its own page. The focus differs by system.
