R/3 has no native REST/OData surface, so we build the integration with the system's own tools: RFC, BAPI, IDoc, ALE and flat-file/EDI. On the DataMagic side, open REST, NATS and ETL – so R/3 gains the modern integration layer it never had.
The integration works from R/3's middleware (SAP PI/PO) or directly over RFC/IDoc – the DataMagic REST API (OAuth2) is reachable both ways.
